The Programme

The Account Operations Specialist position is focused on account management and ad operations for the Account Executive team. You will manage and optimize digital media campaigns from campaign launch to campaign wrap up—creating insertion orders; communicating with all internal teams; utilizing multiple reporting systems; setting up and optimizing campaign placements; and providing support for the Account Executive team. As an SEM & Social Specialist, your focus will be on managing the SEM and social portions of campaigns, and/or campaigns in which search and social are the main line items. You will also train the team on SEM and social media best practices, sharing your knowledge and experience with the entire AO department.

What you will Do

  • Account Management responsibilities:
    • Creating insertions orders, gathering assets, running weekly reporting, creating screenshot presentations, and doing monthly spend reports
  • Ad Ops responsibilities:
    • Setting up campaign line items in various serving systems, trafficking tags, optimizing line items based on performance
  • SEM & Social responsibilities
    • Overseeing the search and social portions of campaigns, or entire campaigns in which search are social are the main line items
    • Training the rest of the AO team on all things search and social
  • Communicate with clients, partners, publishers, internal teams, and other entities involved in the campaign process

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Advertising Major encouraged but not required
  • Knowledge of SEM and social campaigns (implementation and optimization)
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
