Our purpose is to solve the world’s issues using enterprise, and we develop sustainable business solutions to tackle problems including food security and agricultural practice, social consulting, health, and environmental sustainability. Please note that this is a fee-paying international placement and there is no guarantee of employment post placement.
As a trekker (student) on an internship with Project Everest Ventures, you will live and work in a close-knit, multidisciplinary team to tackle a particular social venture project in country for at least a one-month period. Your team will be collaborating and engaging with local communities through hands-on, education workshops, co-design sessions, face-to-face engagement, and the application of a range empathy-based design thinking methodologies. Throughout this process, you will be challenged to operate using lean processes and limited resources, to guarantee a proof-of-concept, a functional prototype, and/or facilitate the implementation of the solution within the community.
As part of your preparation we will arm you with tools and skills in business, design thinking, leadership, teamwork and communication, and crisis management, all of which will be developed further in country. Your Team Leader and Senior Leaders will be facilitating your project's development as well as your own personal growth over your involvement with Project Everest prior to and within country.
