Learning & Development Internship

The Programme

We’re growing quickly and looking for a Summer Intern to build out the knowledge base of our high-achieving and fast-moving employees. In this role you will be responsible for supporting multiple teams by researching and creating a course around basic agricultural data and information. You will work with the Learning & Development manager, while collaborating with Marketing and other managers, to gather resources, design materials and install them on an online learning platform.

What you will Do

  • Support our L&D team by collecting, researching, analyzing and/or creating resources on current agricultural markets, industry and communities
  • Identify, research, and develop solutions to meet employee knowledge needs
  • Support our marketing team by researching and developing agricultural company and customer profiles
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, at a leading university with a recognized agricultural reputation
  • Working knowledge of agricultural practices, either through job experience, community background or current studies
  • Comfortable calling professors, farmers, and farmland professionals to investigate agricultural details
  • Track record of academic excellence
  • Strong technical & high attention to detail skills
  • Demonstrated ability to research and problem solve with minimal oversight
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or researcher is a plus but not required
  • General familiarity with the Google suite (Drive, gmail, etc.) and basic video applications (QuickTime, etc.) is preferred but not required
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment
